The big advantage held by Facebook is you don’t need a brain to use it.
This is so true.

My brain self destructed.
Was that at the same time as the forum. ::D: .
There wasn’t a huge time between them.

Motorbike deliveries

I’ve been looking for someone to move my bike.
The market seems saturated with cowboys.
The worst I find are those that have no idea of how to secure a bike.

Maybe I should take it off his hands, as a favour and save it? 8) That forum has since been regurgitated, twice to my knowledge...... and ends up with less members each time............... COD has had a ground up rebuild. CODForum is back.

Apologies for the delay.
It’s taken a while to fix the site, after it self destructed.

I had been given a quote of £1200 to fix it.
Thankfully, it’s been fixed for a much less horrific amount, and the forum will be having a full update in the coming weeks.

Re: Breakdowns

Lots of time.

Then when we arrive, if it's a more expensive car, usually built in germany, the driver won't let you fix it with a plug, got to be recovered so the dealer can 'fix it properly'

In reality, the trainee tea boy will be putting on a new tyre at 50% above normal retail price.

Re: Its Dead In Here

That maybe the case but this board has had no meaningful posts since the new year. Look Im not trying to steal your members, I offered to buy the website from the owner so I could refresh it and keep it as is, but I got no reply. Im just sad to see a once thriving forum dead. I offered space on ano...

ITS BACK Re: The 'Hendon' scam (package for M&S or Smiths)

9 years after this was first posted here, I've just had a call about a re-occurrence. Collection was Watford, then a hotel and a delivery to a major Theatre. Mobile number used. ‭07904 413037. ‬ Name given. Mr Lloyd A subby was sent to collect, parked 10 metres away and left their vehicle to go to t...

Re: Removal to Paris

I imagine this happened a long time ago, may be useful for others. The sticker usually arrives within a couple of weeks. Only get it from the official site where it’ll cost about £4 You need all vehicle docs. Licence, mot, insurance and V5. If it’s not yours, a letter of authority to be using it. De...

Yodel driver?

I’m after a bit of info from yodel staff. I’ve had a delivery go walkies on way to me. It’s been over a week, various excuses and the last message I’ve had, smells like cow excrement. Apparently, although they say they’ve done a depot search, the parcel wasn’t actually collected, it was a false scan...

Do you want to tell it how it is? Multidrop

I know a lot of people have been misled by companies when it comes to multi-drop, the costs and profits, earnings, hidden fees and penalties etc. I am in contact with a BBC TV journalist who would like to speak to one or several people about your experiences with these things, just what a bad deal y...

Re: Just Starting

Is that 67p plus vat? Your van is likely costing you 25/30p per mile travelled. Being hopeful, let’s say 25p. 100 mile job, no dead miles. You’ll get £67. It’ll cost you £50 overall. You’ve made £17 in the 4+ hours it’s taken to do that job. Don’t just work with one place. Join somewhere like Shed5,...

Hi. Welcome to codforum. You’d be more likely to get responses if you ask again in the main forum. Bid sites tend not to be an income provider, more suited to back loads, unless you want to spend 5 hours going on a 200 mike round trip for £40 The expert who isn’t, will register an office at your add...

Re: Delivery rider likely to be blind after attack

Two kids arrested. a 14yo and 16yo. Arrested for GBH, so that'll be a slap on the wrist. It should have been an attempted murder charge. The victim is still unconscious, A group I am part of, a few went in to see him, not in a good way. He will have no eyesight when he regains consciousness.
