Just a quick one asking for advice. I have a possible new contract but they require a flat bed for a couple of their deliveries. I've never had this before so can someone point me in the right direction ie pricing and whether it would be better to purchase or hire?

Tried to reason with them, told them I would pay what I get got told point blank no so I just told hem I will only pay what we agreed on the phone which is 90p per mile. I have spoken with them and they are now saying we didn't agree a price and the price on invoice is what they charge. bearing in mind this is 50p more a mile than we agreed if that was the case they wouldn't have got the job

I'm asking for advice on the best way to deal with this as I never had this happen before. thinking I would get advice off here from some seems to be a mistake. I asked for advice on Payments not for someone to ask if I have a medical problem!!

Has anybody had any problems over agreeing a price verbally over the phone to then receive the invoice and it be way higher than agreed?

I have been a courier for over 10 years, looking into expanding into the different sections i.e cars etc.
