Breakdowns

Post by bramble43 »

I'm currently back at doing breakdowns.
Until I batter someone with a wheel brace.

We should have half the work we do but because people seem to struggle with sensible thought, we are stacked with stupidity.

Car won't start.
the key has been getting quite stiff recently,?now it won't turn.
i must stop leaving the keys in, it seems to make the battery go flat
ive not used it for 6 weeks
the last bloke said it probably needs a new battery
yeah, that battery light has been flickering for about a week.
Punctures.
ive been pumping it up every day, now it just won't stay up
the garage lost the locking wheel nut key about a year ago and I can't get the wheel off
i hit that traffic calming thing

This isn't random passed down the line stories, this is daily occurrence stuff.

I used to have faith in people being able to rub a couple of brain cells together, now I'm doubting if most people have any at all.

I have never owned a vehicle that I didn't change a wheel on - I can't understand people who don't do it themselves, how much time do they lose sitting waiting for the man?

Lots of time.

Then when we arrive, if it's a more expensive car, usually built in germany, the driver won't let you fix it with a plug, got to be recovered so the dealer can 'fix it properly'

In reality, the trainee tea boy will be putting on a new tyre at 50% above normal retail price.
