Simple clean colour scheme, well written and to the point. Less is more. Well done
I would like to see a land line number available as i believe is adds reassurance for the client but just a minor point.

Silly Bob (as opposed to silly billy) If I called him and said I have a job next Sunday collecting at 3am then he would be available, It is a pre-empt to allow customers that a 3am Sunday wouldnt be frowned upon it doesnt suggest he works 24/7Bob Johnson wrote:One man, with van van, is not available 24/7

No its not, "prepared to work 24/7" would mean he will work round the clockBob Johnson wrote:Thats 'prepared to wotk 24/7' not 'available 24/7'

Re: Another newbie with a web site
well lets see how DTH couriers perceive '24hrs' ?MK BIKER wrote:No its not, "prepared to work 24/7" would mean he will work round the clockBob Johnson wrote:Thats 'prepared to wotk 24/7' not 'available 24/7'
In my experience there are very few who will work anytime of the day or night or weekend, or indeed even answer their phones! I can understand that, it is not nice being woken up at 2.00 am on Sunday morning and having to rush out! but they should not state they are available 24/7 if they are clearly not! We get called literally anytime there is a breakdown of equipment, and I know there are only one or two I could call after my own!

Re: Another newbie with a web site
I dont state 24/7 but would & have answered the phone at 3am, but would usually do this myself than ringing round couriers
(incidentally if anyone on here decides to call me at 3am in the morning theres no mates rates

You'd need to be one to one of those. Not sure how many have been made but i've only ever seen 2 of them.Alun Lewis wrote:Pity he didn't appreciate the mug! :-Dbramble43 wrote:Do you mean this?Alun Lewis wrote:Do you drive a Bedford Rascal as well?

I was passed on the A1 a few weeks back, by a Rascal/super carry, and it was sign written as a courier, rather them than me.
